Adani Foundation actively engaged in 18 States, 2,250 Villages and Towns in India and touches lives of more than 5,00,000 families by empowering communities towards nurturing the dreams of a New India. Maulik delivered a session on collecting high data quality data, a sustainable approach in 2018. It was attended by its founder Dr. Priti Adani and more than 100 development professionals.

We participated again at the Evaluation Community of India (ECOI)'s three day event, EvalFest2020. Maulik was one of the panellists on "Use of Data and Technology in Evaluation" at the EvalFest 2020. In the session, Maulik gave a presentation on , “Making the most of human-machine collaboration: How human expertise, machine learning, and AI can accelerate M&E and development efforts”. The session highlighted on how machine learning and artificial intelligence in the M&E sector have the potential to unlock new capabilities, processes, and even cost savings. Machine-learning technologies help project and program teams systematically improve the quality of the data they collect, save time and money, and ultimately improve the decisions that are informed by the data. It was attended by more than 60 evaluation professionals.

4th Wheel works with organisations involved in socio-economic development and provide support in the areas of social impact management, communication for development (Com4Dev), and capacity development for implementation and management staff. Maulik was one of the participants at the workshop on identification of contextualized indicators to measure SDGs in 2019. He shared his views on the use of digital technologies (SurveyCTO) in M&E and Theory of Change.

The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) is a global research center working to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence. Anchored by a network of 194 affiliated professors at universities around the world, J-PAL conducts randomized impact evaluations to answer critical questions in the fight against poverty. On the eve of its 10 years celebration, Maulik as an alumni of JPALSA was selected as one of the top 9 alumnis and was called to Goa for their annual meet in 2018. He was also part of the panel discussion on career growth after JPAL-SA. The panel was titled "Jpal ke saath bhi Jpal ke baad bhi" and attended by more 100 people.

International Initiative for Impact Evaluation Inc (3IE)

The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) works for the generation and use of quality evidence in development decision-making. They fund, produce,assure quality and synthesise rigorous evidence. Maulik was invited as a guest speaker to talk on the survey design and data collection in their workshop on immunisation in 2017.

Evaluation Community of India (ECOI) organizes EvalFest, a three day event every second year that aims to contribute to promoting a culture of evaluation through advocacy, and to capacity building by sharing knowledge about best practices, approaches, evaluation methods and innovations that are relevant in the context of global progress towards realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Maulik was one of the panellists on "Data, Evaluation, Communication, and Transformation" at the EvalFest 2018. The panel highlighted the problems related to collecting high quality data and the challenges of including the voices of the most marginalized people as stakeholders of development. In the session, Maulik gave a presentation on , "Garbage In, Garbage Out: How to Ensure That an Evaluation is Based on High-Quality Data, Without Breaking the Bank." He discussed what it means to collect high-quality data and highlight best practices for using technology in data collection. It was attended by more than 50 development professionals.

The “empowering people. Onsite” (EpOnsite) is a regionally-based and hands-on training program by "empowering people. Network". They deliver trainings and workshops on capacity building and other different topics. Maulik was one of the twenty participants at the Simens Stiftung workshop held at Mumbai in 2017. He shared his views on the use of technology in the development sector in the workshop. Maulik was invited on a seminar on " Digital Data Collection Tools for Researchers: SurveyCTO Experiences" as a guest speaker in 2017. It was attended by more than 50 staff members, researchers and students of the university.

FICCI provides a platform for networking and consensus building within and across sectors, policy makers, and the international business community. We were a part of their national conference on Sharing of Best Practices: Improving Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health in India in New Delhi in 2018. Despite the progress made in maternal, newborn, and child health in India, 4.6 million babies

still die in their first year of life, and nearly three million in the first 28 days. There are various reasons behind this, such as prematurity, low birth weight, neonatal infections, and birth trauma, to name a few. The conference aimed to explore the best practices adopted by participants while designing/ implementing their maternal, newborn and child health initiatives in India. Maulik served on one of its panel and shared his views on how adoption of ICTs to improve health care services for the marginalized communities has played a vital role in increasing the efficiency of health systems in India. He also shared his insights on how ICT4H is revolutionizing the health sector by building up the health systems to ensure timely service delivery to marginalized communities in India. The session was attended by more than 100 people.

Gujarat Vidyapith is one of the oldest universities of India and founded by Mahatma Gandhi. It imparts education from Bachelors to Master, M. Phil. & Doctorate level degree in various disciplines. Maulik took a session on "Mobile-based data collection tools for field research and monitoring" on both of their campuses (Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar) in 2017. Both the sessions were attended by the university's faculties and MSW students.

Maulik was invited in one of the technical sessions on using digital data collection technologies for the research faculty and Phd students in 2017.
